I believe it is an artist’s responsibility not only to express Beauty in all its forms, but also to be engaged with the world and reflect the culture around them. Many of my art projects are participatory and community-based, shaped by curiosity about connection, belonging, and repair.

Making art will always remain a part of how I stay engaged: a practice of staying current and creating connection and sparking re-connection with others. My counseling practice represents my personal commitment to staying involved, learning, and contributing to the wellbeing of my community.
